As a wedding photographer from Assen (Drenthe), Mirfotografie is fully dedicated to capturing your wedding story: honest, spontaneous and timeless. My approach centers on storytelling; I photograph events as they unfold and look for those small, intimate moments — a tear, a laugh, a look full of promise — that exactly convey how your day felt. I work as unobtrusively as possible and with careful attention. During the ceremony and celebration I am a quiet observer: present, alert and ready to react, but never intrusive. For the couple session I offer gentle direction so you can relax; often the most beautiful contact and the most natural images appear in those moments. My style is warm, light-sensitive and focused on genuine emotion rather than stiff poses. Personal attention is essential to me. We begin with an introduction — at your home or online — so I can get to know you as a couple and understand what matters to you. That makes the day itself much calmer: I know which moments need extra attention and where I can position myself discreetly. Between booking and the wedding we coordinate short check-ins, and I’m available for questions about locations or for an extra shoot such as a loveshoot or engagement session if desired. I believe a wedding album is the most beautiful heirloom you can leave from your day. That’s why I work with luxury albums and ensure the selection and design are personal and carefully crafted. Whether you choose a compact book or an extensive album with thick pages and a velvet or leather cover, I’ll help you assemble a tangible memory that lasts for years.
