I’m Rob, a wedding photographer from Assen with one simple aim: to capture your story as honestly and accurately as possible. My work is documentary, raw and unpolished — no overly staged poses, but moments that become true memories. How do I work with couples? We meet beforehand — usually relaxed, at my home or over a cup of coffee — so we get a feel for each other and you know what to expect. I prepare by learning your story; that helps me get closer and capture the intimate moments. On the day itself I direct as little as possible; I give small prompts when needed, but most of the reportage unfolds naturally, during your real moments. For couples who want to get used to the camera or deepen their connection, I also offer engagement / pre-wedding shoots. These sessions are perfect for spending relaxed time together, practising being photographed and creating memories before the big day. What matters to me: simplicity, authenticity and calm. I draw inspiration from nature and small human connections; you’ll feel that in my images.
