I’m Samantha from Beautiful Moments Photography. As a specialised wedding photographer in Hoogeveen, my aim is to capture your wedding day in a natural and personal way. Photography is not routine for me but a passion that began when I became a mother and realised how precious memories are. I bring that same care and involvement to every wedding day. My approach to wedding photography is calm and unobtrusive. I look for the moments between the moments: the small smile, a fleeting touch, the emotion during a speech. That’s how wedding photos are created that not only show how the day looked, but above all how it felt. As a wedding photographer I focus on a documentary-style wedding reportage where your story is central, without unnecessary poses or staged scenes. Working with me means having a personal and reliable partner during your preparations and on the wedding day. I believe in a warm introductory meeting where we discuss your wishes and get to know each other so you feel relaxed and can be yourself on the day. During the reportage I offer gentle guidance when needed, but mostly give space to spontaneity and natural interactions. Although my specialisation is wedding photography, I also offer maternity and portrait sessions on request. I often use these sessions to help couples and families become more comfortable in front of the camera — which leads to relaxed, authentic images on the wedding day. My core remains the wedding reportage: capturing your unique story as your wedding photographer. I work primarily in and around Hoogeveen but am happy to travel to other locations if that fits your plans. Whether it’s an intimate ceremony or a large celebration, I provide a personal approach, warm images and attention to detail.
