Hi, I’m Marina from MD Pictures — based in Emmeloord and specialising in wedding photography. As a wedding photographer I aim for more than beautifully composed images: I want to capture the story of your day. My style is pure, honest and relaxed; no forced poses, just moments as they truly happen. The result is wedding photography that lets you relive the same feelings every time you look back. Being a teacher and a mother myself, I know how important patience, attention and a safe atmosphere are — exactly what you need on an emotional day. My approach is documentary-journalistic: I’m present but unobtrusive, looking for spontaneous interactions and the small details that make your story complete. How do I work with couples? We start with a relaxed, no-obligation meeting so we can get to know each other and understand your expectations. Many couples enjoy an engagement shoot as preparation — a relaxed moment to get comfortable with each other and the camera. On the wedding day I work purposefully and with care: I follow the day, occasionally guiding for one or two meaningful portraits and otherwise let events unfold. You live the day, I capture it. What makes my wedding reportages special? I emphasise emotion and connection. The albums and images I deliver are created to keep pieces of your story alive — from the little details to the big emotions. As optional extras I can, when desired, offer drone aerial photos or a second shooter to capture even more moments. These options complement my main focus: a complete and atmospheric wedding reportage. I primarily work in Emmeloord and the surrounding area, but I am available for weddings throughout the Netherlands.
