I am Herman de Vries — a wedding photographer from Urk with over seven years of experience. As a specialist in wedding photography I place calm and attention at the centre of my work so your wedding day is captured naturally and honestly. How I work: we begin with an introductory meeting to discuss your wishes and the atmosphere you want for the day. For many couples I plan an engagement or „loveshoot“ beforehand to get to know each other better and to ease any tension before the wedding day. On the day itself I am present in an engaged yet calm manner — from preparations to the reception — capturing both the major events and the subtle moments. In addition to photography I also offer wedding videography. A short highlight film or a complete wedding video deepens the memory with sound, movement and small details that photos don’t always convey. Photography and video can be combined to provide a complete, cohesive record of your day. After shooting, I carefully edit the selected images so they convey tranquility and remain timeless. I deliver high-resolution images suitable for printing, sharing and treasuring.
