I am Inge Marije, a wedding photographer based in Harlingen. My approach to wedding photography is personal and documentary: I pay attention to genuine moments, small gestures, and the atmosphere between people. On your wedding day I prefer to avoid directing too much so the memories that later appear in your album feel authentic — while always leaving room for a few calm, beautiful portraits in natural light. Why choose me as your wedding photographer? My photography is inspired by family photo albums: the value of relaxed images you want to look at again and again. I bring that idea to every wedding reportage. I look for authenticity and warmth; images that read back later as the story of your day. As a wedding photographer I focus on capturing emotions, small rituals, and unexpected moments that together make your wedding reportage unique. How I work on your wedding day: during the preparation we discuss what matters most to you — from the ceremony to the celebration — and we choose moments for (posed) portraits at a comfortable, familiar location. On the day itself I work calmly and unobtrusively, with an eye for light and composition. My style is natural, warm, and timeless: no exaggerated poses, but photographs that truly show you as you are. I grew up and live in Friesland and work often in and around Harlingen, but I am available throughout the Netherlands. Besides wedding photography I also make family photography, portrait photography, and occasional reportage or maternity shoots — always with the same documentary approach and attention to the personal story.
