I'm Suus, a wedding photographer based in Heerenveen with a deep love for bridal photography. For me, a wedding report is all about authenticity: the small glances, spontaneous tears and the effortless moments of joy you'll want to return to. My style is natural, pure and loving — images that reflect the atmosphere and connection of your day without staging it too much. Why choose me as your wedding photographer? Because I work with care and openness. I believe it’s important to get to know you first; a meet-up or a video call makes sure we're on the same page and that you feel comfortable. On the day itself I show up with respect and positive energy: I observe, anticipate and capture contagious moments, while never imposing how you should experience your day. That’s how photos are created that truly suit you. My approach is personal and engaged. As the daughter of a visual artist I grew up with an eye for composition and emotion, and since I began doing birth photography my love for human moments has only grown. That experience helps me capture vulnerable and intimate moments at weddings — while also leaving room for joy and spontaneity. How I work: we agree on your wishes beforehand so I know exactly which moments are important to you. On the day I work calmly and professionally, paying close attention to light, mood and timing. Afterwards you receive images that allow you to relive how your wedding day felt, again and again. I like short lines of communication and personal contact — from the first meeting to the moment you leaf through your photos. I photograph from Heerenveen and am happy to travel to locations across Friesland and the surrounding area. Because I also work in birth photography, I recommend couples book early.
