I am Lisanne van der Ploeg, a wedding photographer based in Leeuwarden with a clear preference for light, soft and dreamy images. My style is often described as romantic, pure and elegant; I aim to create photographs that you’ll return to again and again with a warm feeling. What sets me apart is my people-centred and calm approach. I work unobtrusively and observantly: first I take in the scene, then I act. That way natural moments arise without forced poses. At the same time I actively help plan the day, favourite locations and key lighting moments — for example the golden hour photos that so often turn out magical. Beforehand we can meet via Teams or I can visit you; finding a connection is at least as important as the photographic style. My working method is personal and flexible. I deliver bespoke services, not rigid packages: every wedding is different and deserves its own approach. During the day I ensure calm and flow, remaining discreet yet always present when emotions unfold. Short previews after the wedding are possible so you can enjoy highlights quickly; I edit the full selection carefully so each image carries my characteristic light atmosphere. I love to travel: from Leeuwarden to other locations across the Netherlands and abroad for destination weddings.
