I am Colette van Aggelen, a wedding photographer based in Arnhem. My mission is simple: to capture your wedding day as it truly was — pure, relaxed and full of feeling. I seek out the moments when people are themselves; those spontaneous looks, small touches and unexpected tears or laughs that make a wedding reportage valuable and tangible. My style leans toward calm, documentary-style wedding photography. That means I observe and record with minimal intrusion so you can experience the day instead of posing for it. During our introductory meeting, often over a cup of coffee, I like to get to know you. This builds trust and helps us understand which atmosphere and images matter most to you. Based on that, I tailor my approach and offer a personal service that suits your day. Before the wedding I enjoy working with couples who want an engagement shoot. An engagement session is a great way to become comfortable in front of the camera: you’ll often feel much more at ease on the wedding day, and we create images you can use for invitations or styling. On your wedding day I stay as unobtrusive as possible: I follow the flow of the celebration, look for soft light and pleasing compositions, and capture both the big moments and the subtle details. I love outdoor locations and natural light, and I know beautiful spots in and around Arnhem, such as the Posbank, but I’m happy to travel to the location that is special to you — locally or further afield.
