As a wedding photographer based in Arnhem, my mission is simple: to bring your story to life in images that — years from now — still evoke the scent, atmosphere and emotion of the day. I work from a love of aesthetics and simplicity, but above all from an attention to the small, vulnerable moments that truly make a wedding day special. That trust is the key to making spontaneous, authentic images: an unnoticed smile, a tear gently wiped away, the wink during a speech. Those moments are unique and deserve an approach that is gentle, attentive and respectful. What sets my approach apart is the balance between presence and calm. I am there when something needs capturing, but I am not the director of the day. My work combines documentary observation with a careful aesthetic eye: composition, light and atmosphere receive as much attention as emotion and interaction. The result is a reportage that is both truthful and visually expressive. How I work with couples: we always start with a meeting to get to know each other — often over a cup of coffee or an oat milk cappuccino. That connection matters; it helps you feel at ease and allows me to really see you. On the wedding day I seek connection, trust and flow. After the wedding I carefully select and edit the images so each photo carries the right mood. In addition to the reportage I offer the option of a loveshoot or engagement shoot to get comfortable with each other and the camera beforehand. I mainly photograph in Arnhem and the surrounding area, but I’m always open to discussing locations outside the region.
