As Edwin van de Graaf Photography, I work from Doetinchem with a single clear goal: to capture your wedding day as honestly and receptively as possible. My style is reportage-driven and observational — I pay attention to small gestures, spontaneous looks and the moments that later hold the greatest meaning. Why choose me as your wedding photographer? Because I believe wedding photography is more than pretty images; it’s about memories that bring back emotion. My background in education and guidance helps me remain calmly present without intruding. I create the space for you to be yourselves. That results in natural wedding photos and portraits that don’t feel staged but genuine. How do I work with couples? Usually it starts with a relaxed introductory meeting — often over a cup of coffee. Together we discuss what matters to you: the atmosphere, the special moments and any wishes for the reportage. On the wedding day I am both alert and discreet; I seek the balance between being present and unobtrusively observing. For couples who want it, I also offer an engagement shoot — a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and to capture relaxed portraits before the big day. My strengths are attention, calm and honesty. I enjoy working at locations in and around Doetinchem, but I am available for wedding photography across the Netherlands. After the wedding I deliver a carefully selected collection of images that reflect the day — moments to relive and cherish.
