I am Jorik Algra, a wedding photographer based in Ede with one clear specialization: wedding photography. With more than 200 weddings behind me and several international awards, I believe the best wedding photos are made when you can be yourselves. My style is pure, relaxed and emotion-driven: no forced poses, but images that tell the atmosphere and feeling of your day. Why choose me as your wedding photographer? I combine that experience with a documentary approach: I observe, anticipate and capture spontaneous interactions, while also allowing time for stylish portraits that reveal your character. My way of working is personal and relaxed. We get to know each other beforehand; I listen to your wishes and the story of the day. On the wedding day itself I provide a calm presence: engaged but unobtrusive, so you can enjoy the day and the photos will come naturally. After the reportage I carefully select and edit the best images; the result is a cohesive wedding reportage that brings you back to the feeling of that day again and again. In addition to full wedding coverage I offer loveshoots, proposal and engagement sessions for couples who want to document their story before the day. For couples who want tangible images, I work with luxury albums and fine-art prints — beautiful ways to preserve and share memories. I primarily photograph in Ede and the surrounding area, but I regularly work across the Netherlands and have been active internationally.
