My approach is both documentary and engaged. I work mainly in an informal way: lots of atmosphere and natural moments, with subtle guidance for portraits and group photos when needed so everyone feels comfortable. Because I want to be close to you before the big day, I invite you to an informal, no-obligation introductory meeting. That way we get to know each other, align expectations and often already feel a relaxed connection — exactly what’s needed to help you feel at ease in front of the camera. As a photographer based in Elburg and working across the Veluwe, I know the area well and can find beautiful, quiet locations that add atmosphere to your wedding reportage. Whether it’s an intimate ceremony on a farm, an outdoor setting in the green, or a classic church, I adapt my attention and compositions so the unique mood of your day shines through in every image. For couples I like to offer a loveshoot (engagement session): a chance to practise together, get used to the camera and receive a set of loving images before the wedding day. On the day itself I am present with attention to timing and feeling, so you can enjoy while I document the moments that will touch you for a lifetime.
