I’m Jeroen Savelkouls — a storyteller with a camera and a wedding photographer based in Lindenholt. I specialize in documenting weddings in a journalistic, documentary style: images that don’t show what you did for the camera, but how the day felt. With more than one hundred and fifty weddings behind me, I know how to get close without becoming conspicuous. Why choose my approach as your wedding photographer? Your story is central; my aim is that the images later reflect exactly how it felt. How do I work with couples? In an introductory meeting we discuss your plans, locations and priorities. Many couples book an engagement session beforehand: a relaxed shoot to get used to being photographed — that often leads to even better images on the wedding day. On the day itself I’m there from the morning preparations through to the dance floor: always looking for small and large moments that tell something about your relationship and your guests. What does that deliver? Photographs full of meaning — from intimate preparations and emotional ceremonies to heartfelt speeches and dancing guests. Besides digital files, I love to compile the best images into a carefully designed wedding album: a tactile keepsake that will last for generations.
