As a wedding photographer based in Nijmegen, I capture wedding days with a personal and calm approach. My style is modern and romantic with a subtle vintage colour palette; I aim for atmospheric, authentic wedding photography where spontaneous emotion takes centre stage. At the same time I gently adjust light when needed and give calm directions to achieve the most beautiful, natural images. Many couples appreciate my overview and my ability to capture key moments — from getting ready and the first look to the ceremony and the party — in a restrained, tasteful way. How I work: we usually start with an introduction (online or in person) to discuss your wishes and see if we connect. I often visit the location(s) beforehand to assess atmosphere, light and possibilities. On the wedding day I photograph according to your schedule: preparation moments, the portrait session location, ceremony, group photos and the festive finale. I love outdoor photos in nature or woodland, but I also make sure indoor venues look beautiful — useful in case of bad weather. What matters most in wedding photography to me is authenticity: small details, glances and unexpected moments tell the story of your day. I deliver carefully edited images that share a cohesive style and are ready for albums, prints and online use. As a photographer from Nijmegen I work mainly in the eastern Netherlands, but I also shoot across the rest of the country and occasionally abroad.
