As a wedding photographer based in Putten, I love capturing your wedding day in an honest, warm way. Bridal and wedding photography for me isn’t a checklist of shots but the telling of your story — from the small glances and secret smiles to that unforgettable moment of “I do.” With more than ten years of experience and countless wedding days behind me, I work purposefully to create a wedding reportage that preserves both atmosphere and emotion. My style is high-contrast and colorful: deep blacks, warm tones and colors that pop. I combine a documentary eye for spontaneous moments with calm, considered portrait sessions so you receive both natural reportage images and powerful portraits. Throughout the day I watch for subtle interactions — children playing, relatives looking at one another — because those details are what make your album truly yours. How do I work? Calmly, attentively and with a sense of humour. We’ll discuss the schedule and your wishes beforehand; on the day I create a relaxed atmosphere so everyone can be themselves. I’m happy to offer gentle direction for poses or gaze — a small joke or a tip to “look through the camera” is often enough to achieve a natural expression. Because I also often shoot portraits and family photography, I find it easy to guide families and different generations smoothly in front of the lens. I’m flexible and willing to travel: besides many weddings in the region I’ve photographed in England and the United States. Those experiences have sharpened my ability to adapt quickly and think along with your day. Where needed I can set up a mobile studio on location for beautiful, even portraits between events.
