Hi — I’m Tessa, and together with my partner Berend I photograph weddings under the name The Wedding Shooters. For me, wedding photography is about pure, spontaneous moments and warm, honest images that tell the story of your day exactly as it felt. Based in Zevenaar, I work frequently in the local area but I’m happy to travel further to capture your unique story. We photograph on average about 40 weddings a year, so we have wide experience with different rhythms, ceremonies and celebrations. Our approach is relaxed and people-focused. It’s important to us that you feel at ease — no stiff poses, just gentle guidance and attention to the moments that truly matter: a nervous smile during preparations, a tear during the vows, the small details of your décor and the unforced joy of the party. Working together with Berend allows us to cover multiple angles and capture more moments, making your wedding reportage richer and more complete. Style and method: I prefer a documentary and lifestyle approach. That means I observe, anticipate and empathize rather than stage everything. Authenticity is central — warm tones, natural light and an eye for the little details that make your day unique. For couples who like the idea, an engagement shoot (loveshoot) is a lovely preparation: we get to know each other, you become comfortable in front of the camera and things often run more smoothly on the big day. Every wedding is a new story for me. I listen to your wishes, advise on the day’s schedule and help with ideas for moments that often turn out to be invaluable later.
