We are Fardo and Erik — a two-person wedding photography team from Korrewegwijk who have been creating bridal reports together for years. What sets us apart is our belief that wedding photos should do more than show how something looked; they should tell how it felt. We photograph with attention to small gestures, glances and the unexpected moments that truly make your day. Our approach is calm, personal and unadorned. We avoid forced poses and heavy-handed direction; instead we work documentary-style: present, but unobtrusive, following the rhythm of your day. This creates a collection of images with depth and context — photographs that grow in value as the years go by. As a team we complement each other. Shooting together means we can be in several places at once and capture subtle stories you’ll share later. Our collaboration feels like a dance: we know when to give space and when to search deliberately for that one image that sums up the day. We are approachable and relaxed, and it’s important to us that couples feel at ease — as if two friends with cameras are walking alongside them. We’re based in Korrewegwijk and feel at home in Groningen and the northern provinces, but we’re happy to travel further when your day calls for it. From intimate ceremonies to exuberant celebrations, we give as much attention to details as to the bigger story. Our post-processing is handled with care and sensitivity; we deliver images that respect and enhance the atmosphere of the day.
