Hi, I’m Marleen from Marl1fotografie — a passionate wedding photographer based in Korrewegwijk. Since officially starting Marl1 in 2017, I’ve combined my love for capturing moments with a calm, personal approach. As a specialist in bridal and wedding photography I not only create formal portraits but, above all, look for the spontaneous moments that make your day unique: a shared tear, a hearty laugh, a meaningful glance between two people. My working method is natural but deliberate. Before the wedding we meet to get to know each other and discuss your wishes; I’m happy to help plan the flow of the day and suggest locations with the best light for memorable images. On the wedding day I work unobtrusively and attentively — no forced poses, but movement, conversation and plenty of fun so everyone feels at ease. That relaxed atmosphere yields wedding photos that feel authentic and preserve genuine emotion. Visually I love to play with light, lines and unexpected angles — what I call writing with light. That might be a romantic backlit image at sunset or an intimate black-and-white portrait during the ceremony. With experience in portrait photography and family photography I also know exactly how to guide group and family shots without losing the spontaneity of the day. Beyond documenting the ceremony and reception, I create a personal wedding reportage that tells the story of your day — from preparations to the party. Engagement sessions (engagement shoots) are also available; these are perfect for getting to know each other beforehand and creating relaxed images that fit naturally with your wedding reportage.
