I’m present but almost invisible: I follow your rhythm, notice the small looks and unexpected bursts of laughter, and capture the characterful moments of your wedding day. Humor, warmth and small imperfections are part of the story; it’s precisely these details that give a wedding reportage its soul. As someone who is married myself, I also understand how fast a day can pass and why it’s so valuable to preserve those little, precious moments. Working with me often feels relaxed and personal. Before the day arrives, I like to invite you for an informal meeting—often over a fika and an espresso—so we can get to know each other and you’ll know exactly what to expect from me. For those who want it, I also offer a pre-wedding (engagement) shoot: a short, relaxed session to become familiar with each other and to create some playful, natural images in advance. I travel from Leek and Groningen with pleasure across town and country to be there for you. On location I try to move with the day as much as possible: from small preparations to the moment when everyone falls quiet. My style is warm and straightforward; I look for compositions that enhance the feeling of the moment without over-dramatizing.
