A memory for later — that is what I live for as a wedding photographer. I’m Gabriëlle, based in Veendam, and my heart beats for bridal and wedding photography. What started as a love for freezing moments has grown into a passion for wedding reportage. On your wedding day I don’t just take pictures; I aim to tell a story that brings you back to that special day again and again. My style is warm and spontaneous: I look for those small, unexpected moments — the laugh, the tear, the glance between two people — and capture them without interfering. During the ceremony and other important moments I stay unobtrusive so you can fully experience the day without feeling on stage. For portraits I give clear, calm direction and use light humor to put you at ease; this creates honest and natural wedding portraits that truly feel like you. I am creative and sociable by nature and enjoy collaborating with you on planning and photographing the day. A getting-to-know meeting is important to me: it helps us connect, align expectations, and let you share ideas or favorite examples. On the day itself I work professionally and relaxed, with attention to detail and a focus on the story of your wedding. Although my specialization is wedding photography, I also enjoy photographing families, pregnancies and portraits as complementary services. These shoots suit my approach well: calm, playful and focused on spontaneous images.
