I am Foto Luc Hommes, an experienced wedding photographer from Maastricht with a passion for capturing genuine, relaxed moments. Since I opened my own studio and darkroom (DOKA) in 1984, I have photographed weddings combining reportage insight with attention to atmospheric portraits. That many years of experience helps me recognise when to observe and when to gently guide to create a natural couple or group portrait. For portrait sessions I choose locations and light that suit you as a couple — often in and around Maastricht, where I know many atmospheric corners and characteristic locations. Before the shoot we meet to discuss your wishes in detail: I listen carefully, advise on timing and set realistic expectations for the reportage. On the wedding day I create a relaxed atmosphere; I guide when needed but avoid forced posing. In addition to wedding reportage, I have extensive experience in portrait photography, event and commercial photography and editorial assignments, which enables me to respond smoothly to dynamics and group composition.
