As a wedding photographer based in Maastricht, I (Ad Utens) combine years of practical experience with a calm, personal approach to record your wedding day respectfully and authentically. My focus is on bridal photography and full wedding reportage: I look for real moments, small details, and spontaneous emotions that tell your story. Why choose my bridal photography? I work from Maastricht for couples in South Limburg and neighbouring Belgium, bringing a quiet presence that doesn’t interrupt but is there at the right moment. My approach is built on trust: by meeting beforehand and listening to your wishes we create the foundation for natural images. Thanks to my experience as an instructor at Fotoschool Maastricht, I can also give clear, pleasant guidance during portrait moments so that even those without camera experience feel comfortable. What makes my style special? I prefer an unobtrusive and respectful reportage style: no forced posing, but attention to genuine interaction and atmosphere. I capture how your day unfolds—from intimate glances and details to the larger moments of the ceremony and the celebration. Each wedding reportage is carefully edited so colours and lighting stay true to the memory, with attention to emotion and composition. How do I work with couples? We start with an introductory meeting where we discuss your wishes and the day’s schedule. On the wedding day I work discreetly and professionally; afterwards you receive the best images via an online gallery, and we discuss options for an album or additional keepsakes. In addition to wedding reportages, I offer engagement / loveshoots as preparation: a relaxed session to get to know each other in front of the camera.
