As a wedding photographer based in Weert, I document your wedding day with care and enthusiasm. My working style is pure, honest and unobtrusive: I aim not only to show how things looked, but above all how they felt. That approach is reflected in my bridal photography: warm, spontaneous images in which emotion, small details and the atmosphere of your day take center stage. Since graduating from the Maastricht Academy of Arts in 2001, I have worked full time in photography. Years of travel and commissioned work — including at equestrian events and international competitions — have sharpened my eye for movement, emotion and composition. I now use that experience to create wedding reportages that tell your story in a stylish, timeless way. My approach is personal and relaxed. In an introductory meeting we discuss your wishes, the day’s schedule and what matters most to you. Many couples also choose an engagement shoot beforehand: a great way to get to know each other and feel comfortable in front of the camera, so you can move naturally and relaxed on the wedding day. On the day itself I work calmly and attentively; I’m there to capture moments without disrupting the flow of the day. I mainly work documentary with an eye for stylish portraits when appropriate. That means: real moments, no forced poses, but room for intimate portraits and group photos that feel right. My images are pure and crisp, with attention to light, composition and emotion — exactly what I have pursued since I was young.
