I am Femke van Cann‑Brankaert from Made by Femm Fotografie, based in Weert. As a wedding photographer I don’t just take pictures: I capture the real moments, the small details and the spontaneous emotions that make your wedding day unique. My approach is honest and relaxed — no stiff posing, but cheerful prompts, gentle direction and plenty of room for who you truly are. My background as a registered clinical psychologist gives me an additional way in with people; I quickly sense where calm is needed and how to put couples or families at ease. This allows natural images to emerge in which love and connection are truly visible. During your day I remain as unobtrusive as possible: I look for intimate glances, tears of emotion, laughter between moments — and I make sure those wedding photos tell a story that brings you right back to that feeling. I like to work outdoors, in nature, because that often encourages relaxed movement and space — but I adapt to your location and wishes. Whether it’s a rural outdoor venue near Weert or a cosy indoor setting: I find the moments that matter. Beforehand I find it important that we meet; that connection makes it easier for you to be yourselves in front of the camera and produces the most beautiful spontaneous images. As a specialist in wedding photography I focus on wedding reportage that stands the test of time. My style combines a documentary sensibility with an eye for detail and feeling: warm, soft images with a timeless touch. In addition to weddings I also photograph families and pregnancies, but my heart lies in capturing wedding days — the special ritual of two people and their loved ones coming together.
