As a wedding photographer based in Geertruidenberg, I see wedding photography as more than creating pretty pictures: it’s about preserving a story. My approach is calm, personal and above all relaxed. I work in a journalistic/documentary way: attentive to atmosphere, light and small moments so you can be completely taken back to your day when you look at the photos later. My drive comes from real life; moments are vulnerable and precious. You’ll see that reflected in my photography: no stiff poses, no forced smiles, but genuine emotion, attention to detail and natural colours. Whether it’s an intimate registry office wedding, a festival-style celebration in your own garden or a rustic outdoor ceremony — it’s important to me that you can be yourselves and that this comes through in the images. Working with me often feels like inviting a good friend along: I put you at ease, give gentle directions when needed and mostly let you enjoy the day. Beforehand we’ll discuss your wishes and look together at locations and moments that matter to you. On the day I’m alert but unobtrusive; I capture spontaneous interactions, small smiles and intense moments without directing them. My style is warm, timeless and narrative. I use light and composition to enhance emotion and alternate between colour and black-and-white images to complete the story. As a wedding photographer in North Brabant I work frequently in and around Geertruidenberg, Breda and Oosterhout, but I’m happy to travel to locations that make your day special. In addition to documenting the wedding day, I offer loveshoots/engagement sessions — a relaxed way to get to know each other and create images that suit your style. These sessions are perfect practice for the big day and give you beautiful images to cherish beforehand.
