I’m Marieke from Marieke Janssen ART — a wedding photographer based in Oisterwijk with a clear purpose: to capture your wedding day as it truly was. With over 15 years of experience and international recognition, I photograph couples who don’t want a show, but lasting memories that keep returning. My style is warm, raw and personal: no forced poses, no fuss, just you. Why do couples choose me? Because I look for the real story behind the day. I blend in with your guests, observe, and click at the moment when emotion, connection or unexpected humour appears. Those images should not only be beautiful; they should bring you back to the scent, the tension and the feeling of that moment. That’s my benchmark for successful wedding photography and reportage. How I work: relaxed and intuitive. We’ll talk at length beforehand so I know who you are and what matters to you. Many couples have an engagement shoot (a loveshoot) to get used to my way of working — an easy way to be yourself in front of the camera. On the day itself I’m like a quiet guest: I don’t direct or create a performance. I do give small prompts when needed so portraits feel natural and strong. My approach is focused on storytelling: a wedding reportage that doesn’t just give you photos to look at, but lets you relive the feeling of the day. I mainly work across Brabant — Oisterwijk, Tilburg, Den Bosch and the surrounding area — but I’m available nationwide when you wish. Besides wedding photography, I also offer complementary options like wedding films as an add-on, though my speciality and focus remain photographic coverage of your ceremony and celebration.
