As a specialist wedding photographer based in Oosterhout, I—Ruben at Studio VSF—capture your day with attention to emotion, atmosphere and genuine moments. Since 2005 I have photographed weddings and developed a style focused on a natural, unobtrusive wedding reportage. My guiding principle is that the best photos are made when you can be yourselves — so I first look for a real connection with the couple. When we can laugh and relax together, the most beautiful images follow. My approach combines documentary reportage with gently directed moments: during the ceremony and celebrations I stay largely on the sidelines to capture spontaneous interactions, while during the portrait session I step forward to give subtle guidance so the images still feel natural. I reserve the day exclusively for you and remain flexible: if you want the photographer for longer or need smaller adjustments, we’ll work together to create bespoke solutions that fit your plans. Preparation is essential to me. We will talk through the day in person so you know what to expect and I fully understand which moments matter most to you. After the shoot I carefully select the best images and carry out post-production with attention to color, light and composition. By default I deliver the photos as high-resolution files on DVD so you are free to print as you wish, but if you prefer something special I’m happy to design a custom wedding album in collaboration with a professional lab — created in the style and to the specifications we agreed on. What sets me apart is a combination of many years of experience, creativity and a calm, respectful manner. I have worked at all kinds of weddings — intimate or large — and always act with respect for the day and the people involved.
