As a wedding photographer based in Roosendaal, I’m Robin Looy — capturing wedding stories daily since 2010. My background in concert and event photography (active since 2002) taught me to make fast, confident decisions in hectic, dynamic situations — a quality that defines my bridal photography: sharp, attentive and true to the moment. How do I work with couples? The process starts with an introduction — an open conversation where you tell me what matters most. For many couples, an engagement or loveshoot beforehand is a perfect way to get comfortable in front of the camera and to gently familiarise yourselves with my working style. On the wedding day I’m present without being intrusive; I follow the flow, seize moments as they arise and ensure the reportage preserves both the atmosphere and chronology of your day. My creative background in visual arts and mixed media gives my photography a distinct signature: attention to composition, color and graphic lines. That means you’ll receive images that not only show emotion but also stand strong as visual artwork — ideal for albums and framed on your wall. I work extensively in Roosendaal and the surrounding area, but I’m happy to travel further for weddings.
