I am André from ARF Photography, a wedding photographer based in Steenbergen. Wedding photography is both my profession and my passion. After more than thirty years of experience and hundreds of wedding reportages, I have a clear goal: to capture your day in a relaxed, honest and emotionally true way. As a specialist in wedding photography I focus on real, unposed moments — not on excessive directing, but on emotion, atmosphere and the small details that later tell the story of your day. My approach is personal and down-to-earth. In an introductory meeting we look for that click: only with trust and calm do spontaneous photos arise. On the wedding day I work calmly and purposefully; my style balances documentary capture of moments with short, warm portraits of the bride and groom. Where possible I work with two photographers so no moment goes unnoticed and guests and details can be photographed simultaneously. If desired we also provide videography and, when the situation allows, atmospheric drone footage for extra perspective. The foundation of my work is experience and professional knowledge: I started as a hobbyist in 1976, followed professional training and eventually made the step to become an independent wedding photographer. That many years of practice mean I can confidently take the lead where needed, while always leaving room for spontaneity. I find it important that couples enjoy their day; I ensure you don’t feel like you’re posing all the time, but can live in the moment while I record the memories. In addition to wedding photography I also offer family photography, portrait photography and corporate photography, and I give courses and workshops. These services are complementary: my primary focus remains creating wedding reportage. Working from Steenbergen I mainly capture weddings in Brabant and Zeeland, but I am available for special assignments elsewhere.
