I’m Silviya, a documentary wedding photographer based in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. My focus is on journalistic wedding reportage: I follow your day, don’t interfere unnecessarily, and search for the small, authentic moments that later form the story of your marriage. About two weeks before the wedding I usually send a short questionnaire so I know exactly which moments are most important to you. On the day itself I’m present without dominating. My aim is for you to enjoy the moment; I capture what often passes unnoticed: a tear during a speech, a quiet gesture between you, an unnoticed smile from family. Afterwards I help you select albums and prints—I also offer luxury, handmade albums for those who want a tactile keepsake.
