I'm Melanie, a wedding photographer based in Amsterdam with a true passion for bridal photography and heartfelt wedding reportage. Originally from France and trained at the Fotovakschool in Amsterdam, I combine technical expertise with a curious, human perspective. My mission is consistent: to capture the authentic essence of your day — the emotions, small moments and connections that make a wedding day truly memorable. My style sits between documentary and portrait photography: I remain unobtrusive to catch spontaneous, irreplaceable moments, yet I’m not afraid to create calm, attentive portraits when you want to pause. This balance results in a wedding reportage that tells the story of the day while delivering timeless wedding photos you’ll cherish for generations. Preparation is essential to my approach. I like to take the time for an introduction, help with the timeline and offer advice on locations in and around Amsterdam. From experience I know that good planning brings calm — and calm allows genuine moments to surface.
