Hi, I'm Xavi from Graphxphotography — based in Bergen and specializing in wedding photography and wedding reportage. For me a wedding photo is more than a picture; it's a return ticket to a moment that would otherwise have been lost. I approach weddings the same way I approach travel and nature photography: searching for feeling, atmosphere and the small unvarnished moments that make a wedding day truly memorable. My approach is documentary and natural. That means I observe and anticipate more than I direct. Of course we sometimes create a portrait on purpose, but I prefer spontaneous moments: a glance, a laugh, a tear, the light filtering through trees during an outdoor ceremony. Bergen and its surrounding nature often form the perfect setting — I use locations and the environment as active, dancing elements in the images, not just as a backdrop. How I work with you: we start with a relaxed, informal meeting so you know who will be photographing your day. Want an engagement shoot beforehand? That’s possible and a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera. On the wedding day I work discreetly and with commitment; I want you to live your day without constant posing. My role is to capture the story: from preparations to the final dance. Technical skill matters, but emotion and composition come first for me. I look for creative framing, pay attention to details and play with light the way I do in my nature and travel work. The photos you receive are carefully edited with attention to color and mood — always with respect for what actually happened.
