I’m Marleen Bos, a wedding photographer based in Castricum with a passion for atmosphere, love and natural images. Since 2010 I have worked professionally as a photographer, bringing that experience and attentive eye to every wedding reportage. For me, wedding photography isn’t about perfect poses but about honest moments: a look, a laugh, a tear of joy. I capture those moments with a soft, documentary approach so your images feel as if they come straight from the heart. My style is shaped by years of nature photography and working with people: I’m always searching for light, composition and silence — the exact elements that make a wedding photograph timeless. Living close to the coast, the beach, the dunes and the nearby forest often become natural backdrops in my work; places where atmosphere arises effortlessly and where I love to explore with you. I sometimes call myself a softie when it comes to love — you’ll notice this in how I approach the intimacy and vulnerability of a wedding day. How I work: we start with a relaxed conversation to get to know each other and discover what matters to you. That way I tailor the reportage to your wishes and the rhythm of the day. On the wedding day itself I create a warm, relaxed atmosphere — I will gently direct when needed, but mostly I let the real moments happen. My aim is for you to feel free and enjoy yourselves so I can photograph naturally and honestly. In addition to full wedding reportages, I also shoot loveshoots and engagement sessions — ideal for getting to know each other before your big day.
