As a wedding photography specialist from Haarlem, I — Peter Out — lovingly and professionally capture your wedding day. Because this is my primary focus, I invest the time and care needed to create a wedding report you’ll want to relive again and again. My style is honest and pure, sometimes with a romantic, Italian-style touch, sometimes realistic and colorful — always with an eye for character. I look for those unexpected moments: a wink, a tear, an outburst of laughter. Those images emerge best in a relaxed atmosphere where you don’t have to “perform.” My approach is calm, friendly and often with a dash of humor; that relaxes everyone and results in natural portraits and spontaneous reportage. How do I work? We meet beforehand so I know what matters to you. On the day itself I continuously scan the events: preparations, ceremony, first look, moments with family and the scattered fragments of celebration. Posed photos come mostly from small, pleasant directions — no long staging, but a result you recognize. Afterwards I devote careful attention to editing and design: images refined to match style and mood so your album and digital gallery form a coherent story. Behind my work is a lifelong love of imagery: raised among films and photography, trained at photo school and seasoned by years in the advertising world. That ensures technical craftsmanship and a creative eye for composition and color. Music, humor and a bit of stubbornness often accompany my editing — and you’ll notice that in the characterful finish. Although wedding photography is my specialty, I also offer wedding videos, family photography sessions and event photography.
