I’m Kristyna from Wedding Stories Photography. As a passionate wedding photographer based in Harenkarspel, my heart lies with documentary and photojournalistic wedding photography. My aim is to capture your wedding day as it really is: no forced poses, with attention to moments, emotions and the most beautiful light. The result is images that are not only beautiful but that also tell your story — like a photo book you’ll want to open again and again. My approach is personal and approachable. Before the wedding we have an informal meeting — in person or online — so we can get to know each other and you can tell me what matters most to you. On the day I move among your guests as a quiet observer: I make contact, put people at ease and record the day in a natural way. I don’t direct much; by leaving room for spontaneity the purest images arise. I shoot with a strong sense of storytelling. That means an eye for small details (hands held tightly, a smile behind the scenes), for atmosphere and for the unexpected moments that gain the most meaning later on. Whether it’s intimate moments during the ceremony or relaxed portraits during a short walk, I look for the light and calm that enhance your day. After the wedding I carefully select and edit the images. You’ll receive a preview so the first memories are visible quickly, and I deliver the full story once everything is ready. Later we’ll choose the most beautiful images together for a personal wedding album; I’m happy to help with selecting and designing so you get a tangible keepsake. In addition to full wedding coverage I occasionally organise mini-sessions and portrait days — a pleasant way to capture individual portraits or generational family photos.
