My style blends documentary observation with subtle creative direction when needed: I stay unobtrusive during the ceremony and reception, yet I also create comfortable moments during portraits so you can relax and be yourselves. My calm and occasionally humorous manner helps couples and guests unwind, resulting in natural looks and genuine emotion. The process begins with a good conversation: who are you, what matters to you, and what atmosphere do you want reflected in the photos? I use this meeting to tailor the photography personally to your wishes. On the day I work professionally, respectfully and purposefully — with an eye for light, composition and the fleeting interactions between people that make a wedding reportage special. After the wedding you receive a private online gallery and the option to order premium albums and prints that your images deserve. My focus is wedding photography and everything around it: from engagement shoots (loveshoots) as preparation to full wedding reportages. In addition to wedding work I occasionally shoot portraits, events and corporate photography, but my expertise and passion lie in documenting weddings. Whether you marry in North Holland or choose a venue outside the province for which I provide a bespoke quote, I aim to deliver images that will be treasured for generations.
