As a wedding photographer from Heiloo, my focus is entirely on your story. My work is about being present without dominating: I observe, record and create images that feel like reliving the moment. My style is intimate and documentary — no stiff poses, but genuine moments, soft light and attention to detail. Why do couples choose me? Because I am patient, calm and make you feel at ease. At a wedding I am a quiet guest who knows when to step in with a gentle prompt and when to simply watch. That balance results in authentic wedding photos: the emotional looks, the small gestures, the light falling over you or the landscape that frames your day. I work across North Holland from my base in Heiloo and happily travel for special days — including Scotland, where I have extensive experience with intimate elopements and destination weddings. Those natural places have inspired me: wild weather, dramatic light and open landscapes add an extra layer of emotion and atmosphere to the images. My process is simple and personal. First we get to know each other — what matters to you, what are your wishes, and how can we make the day feel relaxed? On the day itself I keep the flow: I photograph the real moments, help when needed and make sure you hardly notice my presence. Afterwards I carefully select and edit the images with respect for how you want to look, without changing who you are. Besides wedding reportage I offer couple shoots and intimate elopement guidance for couples who prefer a small, personal ceremony. For fellow photographers I also organise small retreats and workshops in Scotland — but my core remains wedding photography: capturing love, atmosphere and memory.
