I’m Evert‑Jan, a wedding photographer based in Hilversum with a clear passion for people and their stories. My focus is wedding photography: capturing your day as it truly unfolds — with attention to emotion, small details and spontaneous moments. On the wedding day I’m present without being intrusive; I blend in with the guests, look for natural, beautiful moments and make focused portraits when you have the time and wish to do so. For couples who prefer it, I also offer engagement sessions (loveshoots) as preparation: these help you feel relaxed in front of the camera and provide valuable images for invitations or a guest book. Beyond wedding photography I draw a lot of inspiration from my personal projects and my studio in Hilversum. That background gives me the creative eye I bring to wedding reportage: attention to form, light and color without losing sight of the human element. My experience as an in‑house photographer at music venue De Vorstin taught me to work quickly under changing conditions — a skill that’s very useful at weddings.
