My passion is capturing wedding days in a documentary style: minimal staging, with a strong focus on light, composition and those spontaneous moments that make a wedding reportage truly memorable. How I work: we usually start with a no-obligation introductory meeting (coffee is on me). During that meeting we discuss your wishes, the schedule of the day and the key photo moments. On the wedding day itself I keep the atmosphere calm and natural; when needed I give short directions to get the best out of your moments together. Besides the ceremony and party highlights, I look for the small details — a smile, a glance, an unexpected gesture — that complete the story. My style is driven by light and composition. Whether we photograph in Hoofddorp, on the beach or elsewhere in the Netherlands (or beyond), I always try to find the best light: natural, soft illumination or contrast-rich black-and-white when it suits the moment.
