I’m Marc Broekman, a wedding photographer based in Huizen. My focus is entirely on wedding photography and creating wedding reportages that feel true to who you are. As a wedding photography specialist, I work toward one clear goal: to capture real moments, emotions and small details so your wedding photos still tell the story of the day years from now. What sets me apart is a direct and personal approach. On your wedding day I work calmly and unobtrusively so people can be themselves. I combine spontaneous, reportage-style images with a selection of calm, carefully composed portraits. That mix gives a wedding reportage balance: it was truly how it happened, and at the same time it’s beautifully photographed. My style is natural, well-lit and focused on emotion — exactly the kind of wedding photos that will keep speaking from an album or on the wall. Collaboration and process are central to how I work. Before the wedding we discuss your wishes, timing and the important moments of the day. Many couples also choose an engagement shoot (loveshoot) to get used to each other and the camera; that session often produces relaxed portraits we can later use on the wedding day or in the album. After the reportage I deliver the images carefully edited and clearly organized — just as I do for luxury wedding albums and presentations. Common options I provide include high-quality wedding albums and a USB stick for convenient digital archiving. I mainly work in and around Huizen, but I photograph weddings throughout the Netherlands when couples request it. My motivation is simple: I love listening to stories and translating them into images. Every couple is unique and deserves a wedding reportage that reflects that uniqueness.
