Your wedding day deserves a photographer who not only performs technically, but above all has an eye for feeling and atmosphere. I am Dolf van Stijgeren, a full-time bridal photographer from Huizen, and my specialty is creating spontaneous, relaxed wedding reportages that continue to move you. Why do couples choose me? Because I work calmly and unobtrusively, which allows me to see and record moments others miss: a tear, a glance, an unexpected laugh. Those spontaneous images together form the story of your day. At the same time I listen carefully to your wishes and think along with you — from the first meeting to the moment you view your luxury wedding album. For me there is always that 'CLICK factor' needed: a connection with the couple so everyone feels comfortable and genuine moments can arise. My approach is personal and relaxed. We meet beforehand to go through your day; during the wedding I usually stay in the background and work intuitively. Sometimes I photograph together with a colleague, depending on your wishes and the size of the program. After the wedding I spend a lot of time on a careful selection and editing; the end result is a consistent, lovingly curated set of wedding photographs and a wedding reportage you will enjoy for years to come. I combine craftsmanship with ambition: I regularly attend seminars and competitions — something you can see reflected in my work and the awards I have received.
