I’m Judith from JYfotografie and I love photographing couples on their wedding day. Since 2014 I have specialized in wedding photography because no assignment yields as many valuable, human moments as a wedding. My approach is personal, calm and curious: I look for the real moments, those small “oh yes” instants you’ll return to when you look at your photos. I describe my style as fresh and modern. The most important thing is that the reportage becomes a cohesive photo story: from preparations to the party, from intimate glances to exuberant laughter. As a wedding photographer I pay close attention to light, composition and—above all—emotion, so each wedding photo feels like a brief return to that day. JY stands for “you”—you stand in front of my camera—and you’ll notice that in the care and attention I give to you as a couple. How do I work with you? We always start with a no-obligation introduction so we can get to know each other and you can feel whether we click. On the day itself I work solution-oriented and flexible: I stay unobtrusive when that’s desired and naturally take the lead for group photos or short portrait sessions so you can enjoy the day. After the wedding I carefully select and edit the images so the final result is a consistent, emotional wedding reportage. In addition to full wedding reportages, I also offer loveshoots and pre-wedding shoots: a relaxed session beforehand to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera and to create beautiful images in advance. Based in Dalfsen, I work a lot in the surrounding region, but I’m happy to travel to special locations where you want to make memories. Why choose JYfotografie?
