As a wedding photographer from Deventer, I capture your wedding day exactly as it felt: warm, honest and full of life. My specialty is documentary wedding photography — no forced poses, but pure, spontaneous moments that tell the story of your day. Couples choose me because I work calmly, personally and attentively; humour and conviviality are important to me, and that shows in the images. What sets me apart is the combination of a documentary eye with attention to style and tangible keepsakes. Besides capturing emotional moments, I design a personal reveal experience and create a high-quality handmade photo book. During the ceremony I like to include short audio snippets in an atmospheric slideshow so image and sound together strengthen your memory. This is how I work with couples: we always start with a no-obligation introduction or a match call to see if there’s a connection — the connection matters most to me. In the lead-up to the day I think along with you, offer practical tips and we align your wishes for the reportage and the album. On the wedding day itself I stay close but unobtrusive: I observe, capture small details and big emotions, and sometimes give subtle directions to encourage spontaneous interactions. After the wedding you’ll receive a quick preview so the first memories can be shared right away. Afterwards I deliver the complete reportage in a personal online gallery and design the photo book based on your favourite images. I’m happy to travel throughout the Netherlands and take practical matters into account; within the Netherlands (excluding the Wadden Islands) I do not charge travel costs. My motivation is simple: to create beautiful, sincere images that make you smile (or cry) when you look back.
