I’m Sharon from Wallflower Photography — a bit of a wallflower with a big love for wedding photography. Based in Deventer, I specialise in capturing your wedding day with attention to atmosphere, emotion and the small spontaneous moments that make a day truly special. My style is warm, moody and fine-art inspired: I look for natural light, beautiful outdoor locations and that intimate detail that tells the story of your day. On your wedding day I prefer to work as a discreet day guest. That means I’m present without being intrusive; I use my ‘radar’ to find the best corners and moments while documenting the real connections and emotions. No forced poses, but subtle guidance when needed — so you look authentic and natural in your photographs. I love authentic weddings, rural ceremonies and outdoor celebrations where the character and personality of the couple can shine. My approach is personal and involved. Before the day we’ll talk in depth about your wishes, locations and themes; I’ll offer suggestions for photo spots and styling and provide practical tips in a digital style guide. On the day I remain flexible and calm so you can enjoy every moment. After the shoot I carefully select and edit the images so you receive a coherent story — romantic, timeless and full of feeling. As a photographer I draw a lot of inspiration from nature and my Achterhoek roots. That love of open air and tranquillity translates into images with depth and character. Would you like fine-art portraits alongside the reportage or a short engagement shoot beforehand? That’s possible and often makes for a relaxed rehearsal before the big day. I can also create bespoke albums and high-quality prints on request, so your memories become tangible and lasting.
