Hi, I’m Melissa from Melstudios — a wedding photographer based in Hengelo with a deep love for storytelling through images. As a specialist in wedding photography, I put everything into capturing your wedding day in an honest, romantic and timeless way. My attention is always on the moments that matter: real emotion, small details and the atmosphere that makes your day unique. My style sits between spontaneous and carefully composed. I work calmly and unobtrusively so you can stay present in the moment; at the same time I pay attention to composition, light and colour so each image also works visually. The result should not only be beautiful, but meaningful — photographs you can get lost in again and again, bringing back the feeling of that day each time. Working with me is personal and relaxed. I like to start with a get-to-know meeting — a short conversation or a video call to discuss your wishes, style and practical details. That way we know together which moments are important and what you expect. On the day I’m there as a calm guide: offering light direction when needed, seeking natural interactions and watching for spontaneous reactions. My aim is for you to feel at ease, because the best images appear when people feel free to be themselves. I take careful care with editing and post-processing; I treat each image with attention so the mood and emotion remain intact. As a wedding photographer in Hengelo and Twente I enjoy working close to home, but I’m also happy to photograph weddings outside the region when asked.
