As a wedding photographer based in Staphorst, I consider it a privilege to document your wedding day in a natural and respectful way. Technique and natural light are important elements of my work. I use available light as much as possible and employ flash sparingly, so the images remain soft and timeless. Whether we photograph outdoors in the beautiful Overijssel landscape around Rouveen and Staphorst, or on location at your ceremony, I look for compositions and moments that do justice to your day. My working method is open and involved. We discuss your wishes in advance; you tell me what matters most to you and which moments you value. That way I know exactly which moments will be meaningful. On the day itself I am present without dominating: discreet when needed, close when it counts. Afterwards I carefully select and edit the images so they best support your memories. Behind the camera I am not only a photographer but someone who genuinely enjoys working with people — this shows in how I interact with couples, family and guests. I live with my family in Rouveen and combine my photography with my work in primary education; both give me energy and sharpen my ability to tell human stories.
