I’m Nienke te Vruchte — behind the name Gewoon‑Nienke — and as a wedding photographer based in Steenwijk I love being close to your day. My heart is in wedding photography that reads like a story: I look for the genuine, unposed moments — the brief looks, the sweetest gestures, the quiet between the bustle. How I work on your wedding day: I prepare carefully and get to know you so I can move intuitively between ceremony, reception and party. During the reportage I pay attention to composition, light and small details, but I remain present without dominating. In advance I like to offer a loveshoot or engagement session; it’s the perfect way to get to know each other before the wedding day and to make relaxed, natural photos. Steenwijk and the surrounding area (including Blokzijl) are my home base — I know beautiful outdoor locations and light conditions that can make your wedding reportage even more graceful. Whether you choose an intimate ceremony or a big celebration, I create a coherent visual story: from preparations to the first dance.
