As a wedding photographer based in Alblasserdam, I focus on creating loving, honest and timeless images of your wedding day. My work centres on the emotions and moments that truly happen: that mischievous glance, the unexpected smile, the quiet pause between hectic moments. I believe a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy yourselves leads to the most beautiful wedding photos. My approach is personal and easygoing. Before the camera comes out we always take time to get to know each other; a short chat or an engagement shoot helps you feel comfortable. During the day I mostly work in a documentary style: I stay out of the spotlight while staying alert to small details and spontaneous interactions. To give some structure I occasionally use fun prompts and subtle direction so you aren’t posing but genuinely together. The result is a wedding reportage that tells your day as authentically as possible. What sets me apart is the combination of a friendly, accessible manner with a sharp eye for composition and light. Since I began photographing in 2017 (and officially started my business in 2022), I’ve learned how important trust and calm are on a wedding day. I work with attention to detail and careful post-processing so the images not only show the moment, but also preserve the atmosphere and warmth. Although weddings are my main expertise, you can also book me for engagement shoots and maternity sessions if you want additional images or to practice in front of the camera before the big day. I mainly photograph in Alblasserdam and South Holland, but I’m happy to travel to other locations in the Netherlands — and I’m open to adventurous destinations if you wish.
