As a wedding photographer based in Barendrecht, I love photographing weddings. It is an honour to be close to the couple throughout the day and to look for those moments that later prove priceless: a grandmother’s tear, a meaningful glance between two people, or a spontaneous laugh that perfectly expresses how the day felt. My approach is documentary and unobtrusive. I don’t ask for many posed scenes but try to notice what happens during the day and record it as honestly as possible. I work a lot with natural light and search for compositions that emphasise the emotions and relationships between people. Humour is welcome, but only when it genuinely happens — I believe in spontaneous, unforced moments. Flexibility and creativity are part of how I work. Whether it’s an intimate ceremony in the Rotterdam area or a celebratory venue in Dordrecht, I take the time to discover where the light and atmosphere are at their best. I take care during selection and post‑processing so you receive a coherent story of your day, and I enjoy creating the album just as much as taking the photographs. In addition to photographing the wedding day, I offer the option of an engagement session — a beautiful way to get to know each other and the camera before the big day. My focus, however, remains clear: wedding photography is my specialty. I work from Barendrecht but happily travel to lovely locations across South Holland and beyond. For me, wedding photography is about connection, light and honesty.
